Counting is an alternative to weighing.   When counting, the machine detects each product individually and has no reference to the weight of the product.  Counting is regarded as the best way to guarantee that an exact quantity is discharged into the pack, especially when quantities are mentioned on the pack, and it also ensures that you are not giving away extra product unnecessarily with a consequent loss of profit in the process!  

Counting solutions can be offered to a wide range of applications.  Almost everything can be counted as long as products can be separated from each other.  Friedheim supplied counting machines can quickly and accurately count all different sorts of products, regardless of their shape, size or weight, and in many cases without the need to change any parts.

All Friedheim supplied counting machines operate on the linear principle.  This means that vibratory plates provide the necessary separation of the products before their free-fall through the detector channels, and ensures that the counting machine can operate non-stop so that maximum output is guaranteed.
