3-sided seal – for supreme flexibility

Friedheim International offers both I-sealers and L-sealers in its range of packaging equipment. I-sealers are compact, single arm sealers suitable for sealing smaller production quantities. They offer a very flexible low-cost solution for your packaging needs, and are particularly suitable for use in shops, offices and other environments where space is limited.

L-sealers operate by using a L-shaped hot knife to cross-seal and side seal the layers of polymer film when the package to be wrapped is stopped at the cutting and sealing location. L-shaped hot knives typically have a Teflon® coating so that the melted polymer film will not stick to the knife. An advantage of L-sealers is that the packages that are created are neat and attractive, having trim seals on three sides and clear film on the fourth side and top and bottom.
