Short runs – efficiently processed!
Under this slogan, KAMA will be presenting the new generation "Servo" of the tailor-made KAMA DC 76 Foil ASB with AutoRegister, as well as the unit for in-line stripping and blank separation without tools – the SBU (KAMA Patent).
This compact solution takes the die-cutting, creasing and ennoblement of printed or cut sheets to an accuracy of 0.1 millimetre. The blanks run 100% separated into the delivery. Cost benefits include minimal set-up times and uniquely quick changeovers between hot foil stamping and die-cutting.
Live demonstrations of the KAMA DC 76 Foil can be viewed on the Hewlett Packard/Indigo booth where this efficient, flexible machine will be linked in a direct workflow with an HP Indigo 30000 digital printing machine – producing folding boxes for high-quality commercial applications.
Kohmann GmbH & Co KG Maschinenbau (Hall 11/Stand F40)
Kohmann will be focussing attention on its Optical Inspection Systems, the most notable of which is the PrintChecker series. These machines are perfect for use across a wide variety of industry applications, including food, bakery products, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and other non-food consumer products.
Kohmann will also show the EyeC ProofRunner Carton Pre-Feeder in action on the Kohmann folder-gluer Starlet. With this flexible print inspection system, whereby carton manufacturers can use the latest technologies directly in their existing processes without replacing their existing folder-gluers. The module can be easily connected to any folder-gluer. The print inspection system even checks the print quality of text, graphics, colours, foil stamping, as well as 1-D and 2-D codes on the entire carton surface. Defective carton blanks will be ejected via the ejection device of the folder-gluer before the imperfect product will be delivered to the customer.
Polypack Inc (Hall 12/Stand E34)
Polypack designs affordable printed film packaging machines that can run clear, random printed or print registered film. The company offers a variety of print registration shrink wrappers for both bullseye/sleeve wrap and total closure applications. These packaging machines are designed to cater to the needs of many industries including food & beverage, dairy, pharmaceutical, personal care & cosmetic, automobile, textile and many others.
Clearprint shrink packaging machines are regarded as one of the most compact, easiest to use and change over, most versatile, most affordable and therefore most cost effective automatic print registration wrappers currently available. These intermittent motion shrink sleeve wrappers are offered with various, multiple infeed options to suit most packaging needs. The Tango can run both clear and printed film at speeds up to 20 bundles per minute and is available with an optional pad-feeder and/or Nested Pack® collation module.
Schib Packaging Srl (Hall 3/Stand E37 and Hall 6/Stand D62)
Italian-based company Schib Packaging designs, manufactures and installs a wide range or horizontal flow wrappers and automatic feeders, as well as fully integrated packaging lines (Flow Pack style).
One of the many machines on show at Interpack will be the state-of-the-art Schib CO 90 – a horizontal flow wrapper suitable for a wide range of packaging applications. It offers solid construction and an easy-to-clean design, as well as exceptional performance capabilities.
The CO 90 can be specifically designed as a stand-alone machine or pre-arranged for integration into completely automated packaging systems.
Automatic feeders and product conveying/handling devices are available on demand.
