Iman Pack’s Plastic Lid Applicator is specifically designed to apply lids directly onto wrapping film or onto finished flow-pack packages. It performs this procedure using a method that guarantees 100% perfect alignment.

Application sequence and standard features:

• The lids are carried by the synchronised infeed belt into the vacuum unit  
  
• The unit collects the lids and carries them to the glue applicator 
  
• The glue applicator applies hot melt glue by contact, using a rotary die that is specially designed according to the dimensions of the lids 
  
• After the lids are coated with hot melt glue, they are applied onto the wrapping film 
  
• The application position can be adjusted as desired by changing the parameters via the keyboard 
  
• As a result of the synchronised precision, the lids are applied in perfect alignment 
  
• The machine is driven by two servo motors: one for the synchronised infeed belt, the other for the vacuum unit 
  
• The glue tank is automatically filled by a Nordson hot-melt unit 
  
• The unit can be either stand-alone/self-standing or easily synchronised with a top or bottom form, fill and seal machine  
  
• Note: the accuracy of application will depend on the quality of the pillow pack
