Wet wipes packaging is particularly challenging when it comes to maintaining productivity and high volume production output.  Many difficulties can be encountered, with one of the most problematical being that of avoiding the fluid from the wipes coming into contact with the seal area or other external surfaces of the pack, thereby compromising pack integrity.  There is also the possibility of the fluid getting onto the surfaces of the packaging machine and, as a result, contaminating other packs as they come through the system.
