Schneider Senator used DRUPA to launch a new machine control for its 78/92 and 115H/137H/155H guillotines. With the new intuitive Power Cutting Control (PCC) the operator will find a much larger (15” TFT) colour display touch screen, which uses language containing independent graphic elements. Amongst others there will be USB and Ethernet connections for data exchange fitted as standard. Two different machine controls will be offered, the basic model for 78 cm and 92 cm cutting widths, and the high-end version starting from 115 cm cutting width. This top model is also capable of being linked to TrimmMaster, Roboload and other peripheral equipment.
Besides the new Power Cutting Control, the Senator E-Line 78/92 received other new features, including a new knife change crank handle at the front and a new knife change device. The clamp pressure can be adjusted at eye level. For cut release there are newly designed cut buttons. The new back gauge adjustment is placed centrally between the cut buttons, and as an option a new multi-functional hand wheel will be available for two different back gauge speeds in both directions. For easy maintenance, the new folding rear table cover is now fitted as standard.
